Applications
Heavy-duty radiator, intercooler, and coolant return plumbing on Class 6–8 tractors, vocational trucks, off-highway equipment, and industrial diesel-engine cooling circuits where a 2.25" ID 90° preformed elbow with 10" legs is specified. Common upgrade for failed OEM EPDM hoses on Cummins, Detroit, Cat, Volvo, and Mack-equipped chassis.
Measure your existing hose from the centerline of the bend along each leg, and verify ID at the bead lip — silicone elbows do not stretch as far as EPDM, so undersized clamps may leak. Use constant-tension or T-bolt clamps with silicone hoses.
