5 in ID heavy-duty straight silicone coolant hose from Flex Technologies, 36 in long, built with five plies of silicone over polyester fabric reinforcement. Used as a coupling section in heavy-duty diesel cooling and low-pressure charge-air routings where rubber hose hardens, cracks, or splits at high temperature.

Applications
Use this 5 in ID silicone hose for:
- Radiator upper / lower hose connections on heavy-duty engines using 5 in coolant ports
- Aftercooler / charge-air connections on low-boost or non-boost sections of the cooling-air path
- Bus, off-road, and industrial diesel cooling-loop couplers
Cut to length on installation. Use heavy-duty T-bolt clamps sized for the hose OD; for boosted charge-air sections that see significant pressure, select a wire-reinforced silicone hose rated for the full boost pressure rather than this standard coolant grade.
