Flex Technologies C20FLX-100-72 convoluted silicone flex hose, 1.00 in inside diameter, 6-foot (72 in) length in blue. Convoluted (corrugated) wall lets the hose flex tightly around obstructions while resisting kinking under suction — used where straight silicone hose cannot make the bend without collapsing or where chassis movement requires a flexing run.
Signs You Need a New Flex Hose
- Cracked or torn convolutions, especially at fittings
- Coolant or air leaks at the clamps
- Hose collapsing under vacuum or twisting under chassis movement
- Soft, oil-saturated, or swollen rubber on the existing flex run

Applications
This convoluted silicone flex hose is used where flexibility and kink resistance are critical:
- Tight radius coolant routes around accessories, exhaust, and chassis hardware
- Charge-air / air-intake routing where chassis flex would fatigue straight hose
- EGR-cooler return loops, heater lines through bulkheads, and surge-tank fill lines
- Heavy-duty trucks, buses, marine engines, and industrial machinery requiring −65°F to 350°F service
Specify helical-wire-reinforced version when sustained vacuum or compression loading is expected on the run.
Cut hose clean and square at installation. Use silicone-rated worm-gear or T-bolt clamps; standard worm-gear clamps will eventually cut into silicone. Verify inside diameter and length match your application before ordering.
