Quality replacement cold side charge air connector for heavy duty diesel engines. The Flex Technologies CAC40P-300X6 is a convoluted silicone charge air hose with stainless steel retention rings, 3.000 in inside diameter by 6.000 in long. Polyester reinforcement rates it to 350°F, which suits the cold side between the charge air cooler outlet and the intake manifold.

Signs You Need a New Charge Air Boot

This charge air boot is selected by size rather than by vehicle, and fits:

Measure the outside diameter of the tube it clamps to and the gap to be spanned before ordering. This is the COLD SIDE boot, rated 350°F and colored blue — it must NOT be fitted to the hot side at the turbo outlet, where temperatures exceed its rating and it will soften and blow off under boost. The matching 3 in x 6 in hot side boot is aramid reinforced and rated 500°F. Use SAE compliant clamps.
