Hood Guides and Rests

Hood guides, guide pins and hood rest brackets keep a tilt hood aligned and supported when it is closed. We list seven, mostly from ATRO:

• Kenworth: ATRO PL1011 and high-temperature PL1011-HT hood guides (replace K179-528) and the PACCAR L65-1013R right-hand hood guide assembly
• Mack: ATRO HM62-64M31 hood guide pin (replaces 25QM31), and hood rest brackets HM62-64362 RH (replaces 20802362) and HM62-64371 LH (replaces 20802371)
• ATRO HM75-65424 hood spike grommet (replaces Automann M13424)

A worn or cracked guide lets the hood shift and rub, so match the left or right side and the OEM number when replacing one. Latches, hinges and bushings are in hood components, hood latches and hood hinges and bushings.
