The IFJF R61709 is an aftermarket fuel water separator element designed to replace the OEM Detroit Diesel R61709 in DD13, DD15, and DD16 engines. This cartridge-style element installs in the Detroit Diesel 03-40538-009 filter housing and provides 5–10 micron filtration to remove both particulate contaminants and water from diesel fuel, protecting high-pressure common rail injectors and fuel system components. Includes necessary O-rings for a complete installation.
