Flex Technologies CAC40P-350X6 is a 4-ply silicone cold-side charge air cooler hose, 3.5" inside diameter by 6" long, for the post-intercooler section of turbocharged heavy-duty diesel boost piping. Polyester reinforcement, 0.16" wall thickness, rated -65°F to +350°F, ozone- and oil-splash-resistant, and built to Mil-Spec A-A-52426. Sold as a single straight boot.
Signs You Need a New Charge Air Cooler Hose
- Visible cracks, splits, or dry-rotted rubber on the hose surface
- Soft, spongy, or delaminated feel when flexed by hand
- Oil residue, soot, or wetness around the clamp ends after a hard pull
- Loss of boost, slow throttle response, or noticeable power drop under load
- Audible hiss or whoosh from the boost piping during acceleration

Applications
This 3.5" cold-side charge air boot fits any turbocharged heavy-duty diesel installation that uses a 3.5" ID x 6" straight section on the cold (post-intercooler) side of the boost piping. Common applications include:

Measure the failed boot before ordering — charge-air piping varies position-to-position on the same truck, and a 3.5" ID hose will not seal a 3" or 4" tube.
